How We Test

FieldOpsLab publishes research-based software analysis for residential cleaning businesses. Most articles use public pricing pages, product documentation, help-center materials, terms, and visible vendor claims. We do not claim hands-on product testing unless an article explicitly says so.

Evidence levels

  • research_based: public-source research only, without a controlled live account or vendor demo.
  • vendor_demo: research supplemented by a vendor-led walkthrough or verified product demonstration.
  • hands_on: FieldOpsLab tested the product directly in a controlled account or workflow.

What we verify

For software reviews and comparisons, FieldOpsLab checks buyer-relevant areas such as pricing, seat counts, recurring-work fit, scheduling workflow, payments, accounting integrations, data import and export, cancellation terms, and any limits that could affect a small residential cleaning business.

What we do not assume

If a feature, limit, fee, export path, integration detail, or contract term cannot be verified from public sources, the article should say so. FieldOpsLab avoids treating vendor marketing claims as independent proof.

Update cadence

Pricing pages, plan names, limits, and documentation can change. FieldOpsLab records checked dates inside articles and prioritizes updates when a vendor changes public pricing, plan structure, product documentation, or buyer-relevant terms.
